Had one of their PPO 1000 family plans for years then my appendix got all inflamed but not an emergency so had to go down the insurance road. Thank God for Aetna! The total bill for the surgeon, renting the surgical suite, getting knocked out by anesthetic, and care at the hospital before and after surgery, and the meds. Wow! Had to pay 20% on top of the deductible but that was so much better than having to raid my nest egg to pay. I’ll say it again. Thank God for Aetna!
